System Calibration - What To Expect
 
 
Step 1: Document a pre calibration diagnostics on the system.  
 
Step 2: Make required adjustments to the system to prepare it for a detailed calibration.
 
Step 3: Calibrate the TV to both Imaging Science Foundation www.imagingscience.com and HDTV industry standards.   
 
Step 4: Calibrate the surround sound system to THX and Dolby Digital standards.
 
Step 5: Provide a pre and post-calibrated diagnostics report. 
 
 
How Often Should I Calibrate My TV?
 
To continue to enjoy the benefits of a calibrated display it is recommended that the display be rechecked once a year after the initial calibration.  Electronics component tolerances do shift over time and the annual check up will determine if the display is still performing to its optimum.
 
 
Surround Sound Calibration 
 
The Standard Surround Sound System Calibration includes the following:

Part 1.
Initial interview with regard to the acoustical status of the space. The benefits of calibrating the equipment within the space will only be maximized when within reason the rooms audio destructive elements are eliminated.

Part 2.
When the room acoustical issues mentioned above are achieved the following equipment calibration will include,
 
Processor Menu Setup
Input Source Setup
System Absolute Phase Check
System SPL Settings
Bass Management Setup
Setup and Playback Tests Using Reference Instrumentation and Reference Stereo and Surround Sound Recordings
 
Note:
This service does not include the installation or re installation of speakers in cabinets and or walls.

Checking System For Absolute Phase.  If system absolute phase is found to be incorrect the client will be informed prior to any adjustments being made to the system.
